Vertical
Measuring Wheel
The Vertical Measuring Wheel is designed with roll form production
in mind. A "back-up" measuring wheel is often included with this assembly
(as shown in this picture) to allow for accurate measurement of thin and
flexible materials. In places where the Horizontal
and Pipe Mill Measuring Wheels are
not appropriate, the Vertical Measuring Wheel fill the gap, and once again
this solution is provided to you by Tallyrand.
All Tallyrand Measuring Wheels transmit encoder output to your Tallyrand
Control System, allowing you to monitor the exact performance of your
system. The wheels and guide rods can be opened and closed from your
control
console, letting the operator make any necessary adjustments.
