The power unit uses a variable volume
pump to conserve energy. An auxiliary pressure control on the cylinder
manifold limits pressure to a safe level if the main pressure control fails.
Filtration on the pump inlet is 79 microns. Filtration on the pump outlet
is 3 microns. The filters are oversized to extend the time period between
changes. Maximum water flow required is half pump flow with 85F water.
Air-cooled power units are also available. Switches on the reservoir are
used to shut the unit down in case of low oil level or overtemperature.
The unit is supplied with motor starter unless otherwise specified by the
customer.
